The City College Division of Humanities and Arts is pleased to present MLK50: Let Freedom Ring, to honor the great civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and commemorate the 50th anniversary of his tragic death on April 4, 1968. It is our goal that the performances, readings and speeches will not only express our deep appreciation for Dr. King, but will also inspire us to work in unity so that we may create the society dedicated to dignity, freedom and equality that Dr. King had envisioned.

The program will highlight the talents of the CCNY faculty and students with performances, readings, speeches and film excerpts by the Faculty Jazz Ensemble, the Graduate Jazz Ensemble, and the Departments of Theatre & Speech and Media & Communication Arts.
